That's funny - I just heard this on the radio news not 8 minutes ago, now I find your wonderful tribute! I actually found this quite scary as a child, but loved reading it to my kids - they are obviously made of braver stuff than me! A brilliant imagination though and a beautiful tribute.
A great and unique tribute. Controversies aside, as a kid I was mesmerised by both 'In the night kitchen' and 'Where the wild things are' very trippy indeed!
