These lanterns have seen better days.
Lantern #1 has age spots (paint flecks), a washed out patina, and a dull brown cord.
Lantern #2 sat out unprotected in all types of weather for over 50 years. She tried several coats of black paint, but it didn't last.
So they've decided to try a little restoration therapy to help them look young again.
It was quick and painless, and only took about an hour for the first part of the regimen.
After a little relaxation (and drying), the sodium solution was applied to enhance their complexion. The results were startling!
Thanks to the treatment, they have been given a new lease on life.
Don't they look natural? You'd never know that they just had work done!
*Doctor's Note: Lantern #1 has since found work in a newly opened mud room, boasting pale green walls, creamy white cabinets, and slate floors.
Lantern #2 has found work lighting the back garage entrance of a freshly painted white brick home.
