  2. I love big art.

I have that first image in one of my "favorites" files. I love the green painting, the settee, the pink tuffet and the pillow. It's all wonderful.

  14. You said it, Lady. Some of these are mind-blowingly breathtaking. Like the first image. And the pink smear by what's-his-face. I'm going to have to go back and study the interiors more too. Oh to be able to afford big art...
ALWAYS glad to see you have posted.

  15. I can never fathom why I love splodgy paintings, like the first image green one, quite as much as I do. Why, they are not really of anything, and yet, and yet...I just love them, when they are done well.

Fascinating post, and I have to agree, big is nearly always better when it comes to art. If you are going to do something, may as well do it largely!

Thank you for the well wishes, and I hope you have a glorious weekend too Kathy!

  22. I agree! Safe decorating is just way too worried about what other people think versus surrounding yourself with what YOU love. Great images all the way around. All decorating should be fearless.

  24. so agree with proposition of "playing big." great to see a canvass with a bold take on life, but the bold notion of even the little guy can have a place in this world with the right attitude just rings true to me. another great one, K!
