Question
After a look / trend has made it through top-tier professional designers to high-end boutiques, then websites, and on to chain stores [Restoration / Pottery / TJ], and ultimately lands HERE
...is it finally done?
...just asking...................K
Happy 1-1-11 back atcha! I love your banner. Have you been to the Chad's Ford Museum? Yes, and you are right, those flour sacks are fatiguing me. Did you see my HP post that color was back? I'm thrilled to say I was right!!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Liz
You are cracking me up.
ReplyDeleteThis is one trend I've never understood. I'll be the first one in line at the wake.
Kathy It just makes me want to scream.... bring on some color!!

Ha! I died laughing when I saw this latest HD catalog.
ReplyDeleteI think we can pretty much call this look played out for this season and hopefully many more to come.

You are so right and that includes colors, patterns, and hairstyles. They come and they go. Hope you had a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I adore your banner so much. To answer your question, I am always late to the party trend wise, so I'm probably not the best person to weigh in...but I have seen them around and done well. But I like them best when they're an after thought - not the main event. I need a little more going on visually or I get bored.:)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
H.H.
Like all trends it will go-and Stay as a piece of the original design idea.
ReplyDeleteoh well, someone will come along and use them in a completely new way and then we'll be in love all over again.
ReplyDeleteI always tell my clients that when a look gets to the retail catalogs, it's done. Time to look ahead. Neutrals will always be in, but a little contrast will be nice!
