It Was One Of Those March Days...

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold; when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.
Charles Dickens

The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month.
Henry Van Dyke

Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.
Doug Larson

Spring is not the best of seasons.
Cold and flu are two good reasons,
wind and rain and other sorrow,
warm today and cold tomorrow.
Unknown

It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want--oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!
Mark Twain

  2. Those first two quotes could easily describe a Melbourne autumn just as prettily, because that is EXACTLY the weather we are having at the moment.
    Hot yesterday, cold today.

I feel a distinct 70s vibe to this selection of images, which is all fab and groovy! Love that little gold watering can. Man that is cool!

  13. A great pairing of images and quotes. I love the fabrics, and I particularly like the chest or bar in the first image - it looks like stylized malachite, don't you think?
